
The house was built in 1900 by James Murchie, who came from Scotland to Traverse in 1891 as an apprentice blacksmith. All of the old woodwork and wooden floors have been preserved over the years in this beautiful centennial home.

Beautiful early American furniture from the federalist period; 1750 to 1850. A comfortable living room to relax in, catch up on news or visit with friends. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
